How to Make Printable Bingo Cards
Step by step
- Pick a theme (Christmas, baby shower, bridal shower, birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, sight words, office meeting or numbers) or paste your own list, one item per line.
- Choose the card size. Use 3x3 for little kids, 4x4 for a quick game, and 5x5 for classic bingo.
- Enter how many cards you need, one per player, and choose 1, 2 or 4 cards per page.
- Click Make bingo cards, check the preview, and download the PDF.
- Print it on Letter paper and call the game with the call list or the on-screen caller.
Are all the bingo cards different?
Yes. Every card in the PDF has a different arrangement, and the generator spreads your items evenly so each one shows up on about the same number of cards. If your list is too short to make that many different cards, the tool tells you to add more items.
How many items do I need?
A 5x5 card has 25 squares, or 24 with a FREE space in the center. A 4x4 card needs 16 and a 3x3 card needs 9 (8 with a FREE space). For a fun game, use at least half again as many items as squares, so about 35 to 40 items for 5x5 cards. With more items, cards overlap less and games last a little longer.
Can I make picture bingo cards?
Yes. Switch to Pictures and add images from your device, such as clip art, photos of family members, or classroom vocabulary pictures. Give each picture a short name so it shows on the call list and in the caller.
How do I play baby shower bingo?
Hand out a card and a pen to each guest before the gifts are opened. As the parent-to-be opens each present, guests mark the matching square. The first person to get five in a row (across, down or diagonally) yells "Bingo!" and wins a small prize. The Baby Shower theme lists common gifts. Feel free to edit it to match the registry.
How does the bingo caller work?
The caller draws items from your list in random order with no repeats. Click "Call next" to show the next item in large text, and use "Undo" if you click by mistake. When someone calls bingo, enter their card number (printed on each card) and click "Check" to see if they have a full row, column or diagonal.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
It's completely free with no sign-up and no watermark. The cards and PDF are made in your browser, and your words and pictures are never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.
